About Me

Sonia Fatima Omar: Empowering Women through Faith, Resilience, and Entrepreneurship

I’m Sonia Fatima Omar, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that true empowerment comes from living for Allah, not for the approval of the world. Like many of you, I spent years trying to fit into society’s mold—thinking I had to be “good enough” in everyone else’s eyes. But that left me feeling lost and restless, constantly seeking something deeper.
It wasn’t until I leaned into my faith and truly began to live for Allah that I found the clarity I needed. Don’t get me wrong—I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring it all out. I’m far from perfect, but I’ve come to realize that real peace comes from striving for something bigger than yourself, and that’s what drives me every day.
I created Project Shifa to give other Muslim women the space and support to find their own path. It’s not about having it all together—it’s about taking small, purposeful steps toward becoming the women we’re meant to be. Through faith-based coaching, personal development, and mentorship, I’m here to help you embrace your potential, not by trying to be perfect, but by being real, resilient, and empowered by your faith.

Sonia’s Digital Business

Sonia’s Digital Business is another way I aim to support women—by helping them create opportunities for financial independence while staying true to their values. It’s about building meaningful work that fits into your life, your family, and your faith.
I’m not here to claim that I have all the answers or that I’ve figured everything out. I’m here to share what I’ve learned, to walk this path with you, and to help you see that when we live for Allah, everything else falls into place. Together, we can build lives of purpose, dignity, and strength—without having to sacrifice who we are.

Mission

My mission is to inspire and empower Muslim women to live with purpose, embrace their faith, and realize their potential—both spiritually and professionally. I don’t have all the answers, but I believe in taking small, steady steps that lead to growth. Whether it’s through faith-based coaching, entrepreneurship, or personal development, my goal is to provide the tools, guidance, and support to help you rise—while staying true to your values.

Vision

I envision a world where Muslim women feel empowered to lead, create, and thrive—rooted in their faith and confident in their purpose. A world where the hijab is seen as a symbol of strength, not limitation, and where women build legacies of spiritual and personal fulfillment. Through mentorship, community, and skill-building, I aim to inspire lasting change—one woman, one step at a time.
