I’m Sonia Fatima Omar, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that true empowerment comes from living for Allah, not for the approval of the world. Like many of you, I spent years trying to fit into society’s mold—thinking I had to be “good enough” in everyone else’s eyes. But that left me feeling lost and restless, constantly seeking something deeper.
It wasn’t until I leaned into my faith and truly began to live for Allah that I found the clarity I needed. Don’t get me wrong—I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring it all out. I’m far from perfect, but I’ve come to realize that real peace comes from striving for something bigger than yourself, and that’s what drives me every day.
I created Project Shifa to give other Muslim women the space and support to find their own path. It’s not about having it all together—it’s about taking small, purposeful steps toward becoming the women we’re meant to be. Through faith-based coaching, personal development, and mentorship, I’m here to help you embrace your potential, not by trying to be perfect, but by being real, resilient, and empowered by your faith.
